Internet hacktivist targets Marathon bombing conspiracy theorists

    http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/22265178/2013/05/...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Jester

A self-described hacktivist is pushing to stop a web-based movement claiming the Boston Marathon bombings were a government conspiracy.

The person known only as "Jester" communicated with FOX 25's Ted Daniel via a secure private chat service Wednesday. Jester says over the last few weeks, he's been targeting people he believes are trying to capitalize on the Marathon tragedy.

Jester has published the name, phone number, and address of the person he blames for a doctored image of bombing victim Martin Richard that made the rounds on Twitter.

The Jester had stated that he was a former soldier and had served in Afghanistan and elsewhere.[5][7] A former defense operative claimed that The Jester was a former military contractor involved in US Special Operations Command projects.[8] On April 10, 2012, The Jester gave a live chat interview to a class of Computer Science students at the University of Southern Maine where he confirmed his military service and stated he served four "operational tours".[11]

Father of Chechen killed in Florida says FBI murdered him

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/may/30/father...

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/father-...

He said his group had a source close to the FBI investigation who confirmed that Todashev was not armed, and that all but one of the agents had left the room when the fatal shots were fired.

The elder Todashev displayed photographs of his son’s body — apparently the same pictures as those shown by participants in a Florida news conference Wednesday evening — that he said show six shots to the body and a “control” shot to the back of the head.

“This is proof of cold-blooded murder,” said Maxim Shevchenko, a journalist and member of the presidential human rights council who organized Thursday’s news conference.

It was an “extrajudicial execution,” said Zaurbek Sadakhanov, a Chechen lawyer who also was present. “Why was he interrogated three times without a lawyer? Why no recording? Why seven shots? And why should I believe their version? Why do American policemen believe they can do whatever they want?”

    Tsarnaevs 9/11 truthers, not terrorists
    http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/08/09/317875/tsa...

During the past few days, the Wall Street Journal and Boston Globe have published stories citing evidence that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a 9/11 truth supporter. However, they failed to mention the obvious implication: Tsarnaev was an innocent patsy who was framed for a bombing he did not commit.

The Boston Globe said of Tsarnaev: “He believed that 9/11 was an inside job and that the government had pulled it off.” The source: Donald Larking, a friend of Tsarnaev and member of the Cambridge, Massachusetts Islamic community.

Why would a Muslim who knew that 9/11 was an anti-Islam PR stunt - and a disaster for Muslims - want to stage another 9/11-style attack on US civilians? (Especially since Islam prohibits attacks on civilians.) Obviously, Muslims, who are aware that 9/11 served the Zionist agenda, benefitted the military-industrial complex, and damaged the cause of Islam, wouldn’t stage such attacks.

Tsarnaev friend tells of beliefs in conspiracies
    http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2013/08/07/unlike...

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/06/tamerlan-...

“Tamerlan Tsarnaev was my friend and we talked about everything from politics to religion,” said Donald Larking, 67, who began attending the Islamic Society of Boston mosque in Cambridge a couple of years ago at Tsarnaev’s suggestion. “He was very, very religious. He believed that the Koran was the one true word and he loved it.” Tamerlan Tsarnaev

Larking has been identified in news media reports as a confidant of Tsarnaev, but he has never, until now, spoken publicly about their bond, and his apparent influence on the younger man. It was Larking who introduced Tsarnaev, who has been implicated in the Boston Marathon bombings and died in a shootout with police in April, to several right-wing publications colored by conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy theories, innocence claims find audience

    http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2013/07/26/despit...

    ===========

There are those who believe the bombs and blood were staged, the amputees and others injured were actors in some kind of Hollywood production designed to justify martial law.

Others acknowledge the carnage but say it was perpetrated by a secret squad of special operations soldiers. And there are those who insist that inconsistencies in early reports, erroneous statements by public officials, and unreleased evidence from prosecutors — among other things — reflect anything from a government coverup to an effort to frame the suspects.

Three months after two bombs detonated near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring more than 260, skeptics and conspiracy theorists from around the world have coalesced on Facebook, Twitter, and elsewhere — including at an acrimonious appearance this month in federal court in Boston — to defend Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev college buddy is indicted; Robel Phillipos is third to face charges - See more at:

A lot of their friends are being charged (plus the guy the FBI shot). Maybe they're sending a message to friends who dare to speak out that these were not the kind of guys who would do this.

The whole fireworks thing sounds pretty flimsy.

Why It's Vital to Get the Truth About Ibragim Todashev's Killing
It's been almost three months since he was shot by the FBI. The public still has no clear explanation of what happened.

    http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2013/0...

Earlier this summer, the FBI shot and killed Ibragim Todashev at his Orlando, Florida, apartment, where he was being questioned by law-enforcement officials. Afterward, police sources gave wildly conflicting accounts of what happened just before his death: Some said he was unarmed but agitated; others said he was armed, but disagreed about the weapon. Did he reach for a gun? A samurai sword? A knife? A metal pole? A broomstick? Every news report seemed to tell a different story. The FBI wouldn't go on record with an official version of events, and was unusually tight-lipped about the case, even as the dead man's grieving father speculated that his son was murdered. The ACLU, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and various newspaper editorial boards called for an independent investigation, in part because when the FBI investigates itself, its agents are basically always found blameless for fatal shootings.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev heard voices in his head: report

    http://news.yahoo.com/tamerlan-tsarnaev-voices-184...

Suspected Boston marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev was tormented by voices in his head, according to the Boston Globe, which published the results of a five-month investigation into the attack on Sunday.

“He believed in majestic mind control, which is a way of breaking down a person and creating an alternative personality with which they must coexist," Donald Larking, a 67-year-old who attended a Boston mosque with Tamerlan, told the Globe. "You can give a signal, a phrase or a gesture, and bring out the alternate personality and make them do things. Tamerlan thought someone might have done that to him.” Related Stories
