Well - this is good news if it holds. NO COMMMISSIONS!!!!
But more significantly:
New Torture Photos Being Released By Obama

NEW YORK - In a letter addressed to a federal court today, the Department of Defense announced that it will make public by May 28 a "substantial number" of photos depicting the abuse of prisoners by U.S. personnel.
a substantial number?
These photographs provide visual proof that prisoner abuse by U.S. personnel was not aberrational but widespread, reaching far beyond the walls of Abu Ghraib," said Amrit Singh, staff attorney with the ACLU. "Their disclosure is critical for helping the public understand the scope and scale of prisoner abuse as well as for holding senior officials accountable for authorizing or permitting such abuse."
WITHOUT A DOUBT - a huge bombshell of a story.
It is one thing to talk, in abstract terms, about waterboarding and 'enhanced interrogation techniques.' It is another thing entirely to show the world photos of human being being humiliatied and degraded in America's name.
the release of these photos is going to take public sentiment to a whole new level of anger - and demands for justice.
and that's a good thing.
