Today comes the startling news of a British government report showing a drop in oceanic zooplankton of 73 percent since 1960.

For many people, this may seem relatively inconsequential as compared to daily cataclysmic revelations about the state of the national and global economy. This reaction is understandable: we care first and foremost about our own immediate survival prospects, and a new and greater Depression will mean millions losing their homes, millions more their jobs. It's nothing to look forward to.

Next will come a human demographic collapse (resulting from the economic crisis, with poor folks unable to afford food or shelter), as mortality begins to exceed fertility.

In all of this it's important to remember that the species on the lower levels of the biodiversity pyramid have been paying the price for our exuberance all along.

The pyramid appears to collapse from the top, while in fact its base has been crumbling for some time.

The biodiversity crisis really deserves more attention than it gets. 9/11 is big, global warming is huge, but mass extinction is apocalyptic. Of course, they are all related in some way, but mass extinction is the in-your-face result of this corrupt system. It is so big, so obviously wrong, that perhaps it is even harder to digest than the other pieces.

Humans are running a huge debt, not just financially, but in terms of energy, resources, and life itself. We've taken more than we deserve, more than we can pay back, and when this debt really does come due, we're going to pay with our lives and/or our souls. There are solutions, of course, but I don't think they translate into "averting" or "avoiding" the crisis. The crisis is here, it's been here for a long time. Until we accept that and humble ourselves, we're headed for a rude awakening.

    You people are PATHETIC.

Man was created to rule over the animals, plants, insects, plankton, dinosaurs etc., which are collectively CREATURES OF SATAN. Only man and dogs go to heaven. If some or even most of the other creatures die off that's PART OF GOD'S PLAN WHICH WILL BE REVEALED AT THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON. It's man's responsibility to conquer and subdue nature just like our ancestors subdued the Injuns, Witches, Negroids and other Godless PAGANS who engaged in cannibalism and wanton sex as well as homosexuality and probably bestiality as well. The Injuns had to die from disease in order for the enlightened Christians to spread the word of God across the Earth to America and create a new Jerusalem in the savage wilds. We may have killed them but we also SAVED THEIR SOULS.

I am shocked and appalled that you regard PLANKTON as more important than man WHO WAS MADE IN GOD'S IMAGE while Eve was made in the image of Adam's ribs.

You care more about PLANKTON than the unborn featouses who are being slaughtered in a gigantic HOLOCAUST which is being pushed by JEWS who belong to the SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN and who also sponsor the PORNOGRAPHY INDUSTRY in order to break up the Republic and establish WORLD GOVERNMENT.

When the temple is rebuilt the blessed will ascend to HEAVEN and you PLANKTON/GAY LOVERS will be microchipped with the mark of the beast and burn in eternal HELLFIRE.

    Thank you and good day.

P.S. The Enviro-Mental movement is sponsored by the Illuminati, the Elders of Zion, the Queen and J.K. Rowling as a means of engendering PAGANISM and even worse, HIGHER TAXES. Our population will be CULLED to 100,000 in order that "mankind" can live in perpetual "harmony" with the "environment" in a "global community". Elites have done away with the idea of a surplus labor pool because they will be safely ensconced in gigantic, energy efficient geodesic domes with force fields where they will jealously guard the Holy Grail of eternal life born of Genetic Engineering and long hidden cancer cures while the remaining population is perpetually drugged, distracted, flouridated and encouraged to worship them as GODS.

[Actually, the last bit doesn't sound so farfetched ;)]

Sorry, but I have to note that the above posts by Durruti are SATIRE*.

There are actually people out there who subscribe to above world view, and some of them have posted to our forum before, so I just didn't want anyone to get confused.

Well, I stand by my comments.

Descartes proved we are superior to any "rat", or "cat", or "ape", because humans think while chimps neither think nor feel nor use tools.

The superior has no obligation to the inferior. The oil is ours. We have the best weapons (sucka) :P

Animals don't have souls, and that includes Homo Sapients. Only we Homo Erectus were given the gift of souls so fuck off. Those earlier apes like Homo Sapiens are irrelevant.

    They have NO stock options.
